Nazarbayev University invites applicants and their parents to learn more about the application process and opportunities of Central Asia’s leading research university.
Every year NU organizes an Open House Day and invites everyone to learn more about the programs, majors, and requirements of the university, as well as visit its huge campus.
On September 16, from 10.00-15.00, future graduates and their parents will be able to:
take a tour of the university,
meet with professors and staff,
attend information sessions about the programs,
learn all about the admission process,
chat with current students about what it's like to be a part of NU
participate in various events.

Short mentoring sessions where current students share their academic journey, extracurricular activities, and life on campus.

If you won’t get the chance to attend the Open House Day in the capital, do not worry! NU staff will also travel around Kazakhstan to meet with potential students, tell them all the useful information about the university, answer questions and conduct various masterclasses. Look for your city in the table below.
Residents of Atyrau, Astana, Shymkent and Almaty will have a unique opportunity to visit a university fair, where, in addition to Nazarbayev University, such educational institutions as KIMEP, KBTU and SDUwill be represented. Almaty residents will be doubly lucky as they will also be able to attend the Open House Day on the Almaty campus (Satpayeva st., 4a).
